The JFIU was established in 2012 as Division 6 FIU , Its name was changed to the Joint Fugitive Investigations Unit (JFIU ) in 2020. The JFIU headquarters is locating in Houston Texas and has apprehended fugitives across the United States and has partnered with other fugitive recovery agents, agencies and law enforcements agencies.
